Order Permit

DON'T FORGET TO OPT-IN TO TEXT MESSAGING. Anyone needing a permit for the 24-25 school year will need to go to the Parking Office for assistance. Statesboro students who reside off of campus have the option of purchasing a commuter permit for one of the three flexible zoned sets of lots. Students can purchase commuter permits in the following zones and gain access to any of the numbered lots within that Zone:

Zone 1 (7 lots): Lots 11, 13 and 21 (Overflow: RAC Lot, Gold Lot-football stadium, Lot 29, Lot 12)

Zone 2 (7 lots): Lots 29, 30, 31 and 32 (Overflow: RAC Lot, Gold Lot-football stadium, Lot 12)

Zone 3 (5 lots): Lot 42 (Overflow: RAC Lot, Gold Lot-football stadium, Lot 29, Lot 12)

In the event that you would like to adjust your zone once purchased, please contact our office.

Terms of Service

Individuals will register their vehicle license plate number into the parking software when purchasing a permit. The software combines that information with the individual's permit classification and payment to generate a virtual permit linked to that vehicle's license plate.
Head-in parking is required for all vehicles being parked on the campus. Pull-through parking and backing into a space is not allowed.

Your permit is valid only on the vehicle(s) that you register. It is not transferable to any other vehicle nor can it be given or sold to someone else. Registering another's vehicle is considered false information as described below. Only one permit vehicle may be parked on campus at any given time.

Permits are issued based on the student’s place of residence. If you change residences, you must notify the Parking and Transportation Office to verify that your permit is still valid. You CAN NOT purchase a resident hall permit UNLESS you live there.

By accepting these Terms of Service, I understand that as a student at Georgia Southern University, I am obligated to follow all university policies and procedures, including those administered through the Parking and Transportation Department. I further understand that false information provided by me on this order will result in immediate revocation of my parking privileges, a $50 fine, forfeiture of money paid for permit and/or action by the Judicial Affairs Office.
